Recommendation:
When you receive the device, it’s best to discharge the built-in lamp/torch for a short time, then fully charge the jump starter for at least 4 hours before using it to start a vehicle.
Ensure the jump starter’s battery level is at least 3 bars or around 60% or more before attempting a jump-start.
Check the vehicle battery terminals (the posts) — make sure they are clean, free of corrosion, and the clamps will make solid contact.
Using the standard clamps:
Make sure the clamp plug into the jump starter is fully inserted (blue or other colour port as applicable).
Ensure each clamp contacts the battery terminals with maximum contact area, is firmly attached, and there’s no wobble.
Connect the positive clamp to the battery’s positive (+) terminal. Then connect the negative clamp to the battery’s negative (–) terminal (or as per manufacturer/vehicle instructions).
Wait 2-3 minutes after connecting the clamps before trying to start the car — this helps relieve some load on the jump starter.
Once the vehicle starts, disconnect in the correct order (usually negative clamp first, then positive) and allow the vehicle to idle or drive to recharge its battery.
